Jealous Magpie

Woken yesterday at 7 am by the “pick-pick” alarm calls of a pair of nesting Blackbirds. I rushed downstairs only to see a Magpie leaving the nest the songbirds have made within the woody evergreen Jasmine branches covering the back of the house.
